Corn Island and Little Corn: inter-island day trip
A Caribbean excursion intended for travellers already on Corn Island. It should not be sold as a simple day trip from Managua or the Pacific, because getting to the islands requires separate long-distance connections.
Experience outline
Enjoy coastal scenery, local island life and, when maritime service permits, a crossing towards Little Corn Island. Keep a plan to remain on Corn Island if the sea or transport operator makes the crossing impractical.
Organising the itinerary
Confirm the actual port, marine timetable, fares and return crossing with the boat operator. Leave enough time between transfers and any onward flight rather than assuming a guaranteed same-day connection.
