Granada and the Islets: heritage and optional boat trip
A half-day or full-day plan combining Granada's historic centre with an optional boat visit to Las Isletas on Lake Nicaragua. The boat segment is separate and depends on the operator and current conditions.
Experience outline
Walk around Central Park, the cathedral and historic streets, then decide whether to add cultural spaces, lunch or a boat ride. Leave unstructured time rather than treating every stop as a mandatory paid activity.
Organising the itinerary
Start in Granada or another agreed city. Confirm walking route, transfer to the embarkation point, boat operator, duration and return time before including the Islets.
Before confirming
Boat service, food, entrance fees and guides are not automatically included. Ask for a written programme that distinguishes confirmed reservations from optional recommendations.
